Fertility care, Sasha Acupuncture

Fertility, individualized. Always.

Strategy focused acupuncture and herbal medicine for natural conception, cycle regulation, egg quality, IVF support, and male fertility. Built for the patient sitting on the table, not the average in a textbook.

Tell us where you are. We will meet you there.

Fertility is not one path. Choose the situation closest to yours and see how we tailor the work. You can also bring something different. Most of our patients do.

You are trying naturally.

Most natural conception work begins with the cycle. We map it, regulate it, and build the conditions the body needs for a healthy ovulation, a strong luteal phase, and a receptive uterine environment.

Treatment is paced over months, not weeks. The body changes on its own timeline.

  • Cycle mapping and pattern diagnosis
  • Acupuncture timed to ovulation and luteal phase
  • Custom herbal formula support where appropriate
  • Partner participation strongly encouraged
Natural conception A treatment plan paced to your body's rhythm.

You are working with a clinic.

We act as supportive care alongside your fertility clinic. Treatment is timed to your protocol: stimulation, retrieval, transfer. Our focus is circulation, nervous system regulation, and resilience through the parts of the cycle that ask the most of your body.

We coordinate with your clinic's timing, not against it.

  • Pre and post embryo transfer protocols
  • Treatment around stimulation and retrieval
  • Nervous system support through the emotional load
  • Communication with your reproductive endocrinologist as needed
IUI or IVF support Aligned with your clinic. Built around your transfer day.

You are focused on egg quality.

Egg quality work is a long game. It is the months before retrieval, before conception, before the cycle you actually count. We focus on circulation, mitochondrial support, hormonal rhythm, and the resilience that downstream outcomes depend on.

Most patients work with us for at least three full cycles before measurable shifts.

  • Long form constitutional treatment
  • Cycle regulation and luteal phase work
  • Targeted herbal formulas where indicated
  • Coordination with any supplements or clinical protocols
Egg quality Three months in. The slow work begins to show.

You have experienced recurrent loss.

Recurrent miscarriage requires a different conversation. We move carefully and we move slowly. The work focuses on constitutional support, cycle regulation, and the deeper resilience the body needs to carry a pregnancy.

If you are working with a maternal fetal medicine specialist or a reproductive immunologist, we coordinate alongside them.

  • Cycle and luteal phase support
  • Constitutional resilience work
  • Honest, careful conversation about what care can and cannot do
  • Coordination with your specialists where appropriate
Recurrent loss Held with care. Built with patience.

You are looking at sperm health.

Male factor accounts for a meaningful share of fertility challenges. Acupuncture and herbal medicine have real evidence behind them for supporting sperm count, motility, and morphology. We work with male patients directly, often alongside the female partner.

Most male protocols run twelve weeks because that is the length of a full sperm cycle.

  • Twelve week protocols aligned to sperm cycle
  • Lifestyle and nutrition review
  • Targeted herbal support
  • Partnered treatment when both partners are in care
Male factor A twelve week reset for the male side.

The body has four conversations a month. We work in all of them.

Fertility is rhythmic. The female cycle has four phases, and each one asks something different of the body. Click each phase to see how our work shifts inside it.

Phase one

Menstrual

The body lets go. We support a clean, complete release with acupuncture and warmth. Patients with painful or heavy cycles often see the most meaningful early shifts here.

Your cycle is not the cycle in a textbook. Your history is not the history of the patient before you. The work has to fit the person sitting on the table.

Fertility is a two body conversation.

Because fertility challenges may involve both male and female factors, we strongly encourage partner participation whenever applicable. When both partners are in care, the picture is more complete and the work moves faster.

Partner A

The patient at the front of the conversation.

Usually the partner carrying the cycle work, the appointments, the supplements, the tracking. Treatment focuses on cycle regulation, ovulation support, luteal phase strengthening, and the conditions that downstream outcomes depend on.

  • Cycle mapping and balancing
  • Egg quality and follicular phase support
  • Luteal phase strengthening
  • Pre and post transfer care
Partner B

The partner who is often left out.

Most fertility care starts and ends with the female partner. We do not work that way. Male factor accounts for a meaningful share of fertility challenges, and even when it does not, the support is felt on both sides of the relationship.

  • Twelve week sperm cycle protocols
  • Sperm count, motility, morphology support
  • Stress and nervous system regulation
  • Lifestyle and nutrition review

How the first months unfold.

Fertility work is rarely a single visit. It is a season of careful, patient work. Here is the shape of the first stretch of care.

Step 0 of 4
Before your visit

The preparation form.

After booking, you receive a brief preparation form. The more we know going in, the more we get out of your consultation. Patients often bring recent labs, prior workups, and partner information.

Visit one

The comprehensive, strategy focused consultation.

A long first conversation. A full assessment of cycle, history, lifestyle, and supporting systems. We discuss what your goals are, what your timeline looks like, and how acupuncture and herbal medicine fit alongside any clinical care you are receiving.

Months one to three

Stabilizing the foundation.

Most fertility work begins with regulating cycles, calming the nervous system, and supporting the body's baseline. This is the groundwork that everything else rests on.

Months three plus

Targeted, cycle aligned support.

Treatments become more cycle specific. If you are preparing for IUI, IVF, or transfer, we coordinate with your clinic's timing. If you are trying naturally, we focus on the windows that matter most.

Founder. Practitioner.
Dr. Aleksandra Mihajlovic

You are not looking for someone to tell you to relax.

The patients who sit across from me in fertility consultations have usually been carrying this for a long time. They have read more than most doctors. They have tracked, charted, supplemented, and waited. They are looking for someone who will actually look.

Fertility care here is not a script. Your cycle is not the cycle in a textbook. Your history is not the history of the patient before you. The work has to fit the person sitting on the table.

That is what strategy focused actually means. A real intake. A real plan. Honest conversation about what acupuncture can do, what it cannot, and how it pairs with anything else you are doing.

Important information before your fertility consultation.

i.We do not bill insurance directly.
ii.Many insurance plans do not cover fertility related acupuncture, even when general acupuncture benefits exist.
iii.Patients are responsible for verifying potential out of network reimbursement prior to treatment.
iv.Our consultations are comprehensive and strategy focused. To help us maximize your visit, patients will receive a brief preparation form after booking.
v.If you are currently working with a fertility clinic or undergoing IVF, acupuncture serves as supportive care focused on optimizing circulation, nervous system regulation, reproductive health, and overall resilience throughout treatment.

Asked honestly. Answered the same way.

If your question is not here, ask it on the call. We do not believe in fertility care that talks around things.

Can acupuncture really help with fertility?
Acupuncture is not a guarantee of pregnancy, and we are careful not to pretend otherwise. What it can do is improve circulation to the reproductive organs, support hormonal rhythm, regulate the nervous system, and strengthen the conditions that fertility depends on. For many patients, it is one of the most consistent supportive layers in their care.
I am undergoing IVF. Will you work alongside my fertility clinic?
Yes. We treat acupuncture as supportive care alongside ART. We align with your clinic's protocol and timing, particularly around stimulation, retrieval, and transfer. We are not here to replace your fertility doctor. We are here to support the work they are doing.
Should my partner come too?
If conception involves both partners, we strongly encourage partner participation. Male factor accounts for a meaningful share of fertility challenges, and even when it does not, the support is felt on both sides. Many of our most successful fertility cases involve both partners receiving treatment.
How long does fertility work take?
Most patients work with us for at least three months. Egg quality, cycle regulation, and tissue change happen on the body's timeline, not ours. Some patients see meaningful shifts faster. Some take longer. Your plan will be built around your individual situation.
Do you take insurance?
We do not bill insurance directly. Many plans do not cover fertility related acupuncture even when they cover general acupuncture. Patients are responsible for verifying potential out of network reimbursement prior to treatment. We can provide a superbill on request.
What does the first appointment look like?
After booking, you will receive a brief preparation form. Your first visit is a comprehensive, strategy focused consultation: a long conversation, a full assessment, and a discussion of how we structure your care from here. Many patients bring recent labs and any prior workup with them.
I have unexplained infertility. Is this still worth trying?
Yes, and unexplained infertility is one of the situations where Chinese medicine often has the most to offer. The framework looks at patterns that conventional medicine does not always name. That is part of the conversation we have on the first visit.
